One of the most internationally renowned and historically significant circuits in the world, Donington Park continues to host numerous major national and international events, and benefitted from a multi-million pound programme of improvements prior to the 2018 season from new operator MSV. Changes included extensive resurfacing of paddock areas and internal roads, a number of new toilet blocks, a new circuit office, a new grandstand overlooking Hollywood corner and a stunning new bar and restaurant in the heart of the paddock - Garage 39.
The circuit's premier event is the annual visit of the FIM Superbike World Championship, while firm fan favourites include the Bennetts British Superbike Championship and Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship. Other large events include British GT and F3, British Truck Racing, the Donington Historic Festival and the Classic Motorcycle Festival, with dozens of club car and bike meetings throughout the season.
A key part of the experience for visitors to Donington Park is our hospitality offering. We're looking for a Hospitality Co-ordinator to lead the delivery of all race day hospitality, with a focus on first class customer service, innovative creativity and impeccable attention to detail.
Delivery of race day hospitality includes administrative tasks such as sending out hospitality packs, creating function sheets to distribute, setting up and breakdown of hospitality suites, and on the day management of hospitality teams and delivery.
You will proactively manage seasonal hospitality team members, ensuring that MSV standards are reflected and adhered to at all times.
You'll need to have previous front of house experience in the hospitality and events industry, along with excellent written and spoken English and communication skills and relevant A-levels or equivalent.
You'll need to be able to co-ordinate and influence other team members and departments in order to be successful in this role, and you will have great prioritisation and organisational skills.
Ideally you would have a relevant degree, a health & safety qualification and experience of working at a large events venue along with some supervisory or management experience. Due to our location a driving licence and your own transport will be important.
Given the nature of the role, there will be an element of weekend and evening working, particularly during our main event season.
