The Intelligent Money British GT Championship heads to Donington Park this weekend (27-28 May) for a spectacular two hour contest on the full Grand Prix circuit. Here's everything you need to know to make the most of your trip to the venue.

Gate opening times & parking
Public admission to the circuit is from 7.30am on both days.

All cars will be directed to park on the Tarmac Lake area of the site, and foot entry will be from a dedicated entry point behind the Hollywood Grandstand. The Paddock Gate will also be open for visitors on foot this weekend. Use DE74 2BN if parking in this area.

For entry via Coppice, please access the venue via the East Entrance at the Superbike Factory, using DE74 2RP. 

Please note that due to ongoing Download Festival set up, driving between the two main entry points via internal access roads this weekend will not be possible.

Tickets
Additional tickets will be available to purchase upon arrival at the venue. Adult tickets are available for £20 on Saturday, £28 on Sunday or £40 for the full weekend. Reduced rates are available for teenagers aged 13-15 and senior citizens, while children under 13 go free.

If you have chosen to have tickets posted you will need to bring the originals to the circuit as copies and receipts are not accepted.

All advance tickets have now been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required. If you haven't received them, contact us urgently at [email protected].

Print-at-home/e-tickets tickets are emailed on the day of purchase. If you haven't received yours, login to your MSV account to access them - your order confirmation email will not gain you admission to the venue. All e-tickets can be printed or scanned from a mobile device.

Please have your tickets separated before arriving at the gate.

Pre-registration is not required for season pass holders, who should present their passes on the gate as usual.

Camping 
The Donington Park campsites are not in operation this weekend. Click here to view a list of local accommodation.

Starkey's Parking
Overlooking the famous Craner Curves, Old Hairpin and Schwantz sequence of corners, Starkey's Parking is available on Saturday for £5 per car. 

 

Starkey's Parking has SOLD OUT on Sunday.

All persons inside the vehicle will require a valid entry ticket, and a car hanger will be provided to all purchasers, which must be displayed inside the vehicle throughout the day.

Access to Starkey’s Parking is available via the Coppice entry point only due to the Download Festival build. Please use the postcode DE74 2RP if you are using Starkey’s Parking.

Disabled Parking
There will be a dedicated parking area at Coppice, with circuit viewing available on a first come first served basis. Please present your blue badge when you arrive and you'll be directed to the correct location. A buggy will be in operation from the Coppice viewing platform should users wish to access another part of the area. Please ask a steward if you require this service. 

Food and drink
The Garage 39 restaurant, bar and café will be open throughout the event serving a variety of food and refreshments, while additional outlets will be available in the most popular viewing areas.

Infield access
Infield access will be available via the tunnels in the Paddock, at Coppice and at the Esses.

Grandstand seats
Seating in the Hollywood Grandstand will be available to purchase at the event, subject to availability, priced at £12 on Sunday for Adults with discounts for under-16s. Grandstand access is free of charge on Saturday.

Programmes
Programmes can be purchased for £6 from the ticket booths upon arrival at the venue, the Megastore, the Paddock Newsagent and at the Hollywood Grandstand.

Trade and merchandise
A selection of trade stands selling merchandise and memorabilia will be positioned in the paddock next to the Megastore.

The Megastore will also be open all weekend selling a range of circuit merchandise. 

Radio Donington
Radio Donington will be in operation, broadcasting the circuit commentary feed all weekend, on the new frequency of 94.3FM.

Excellent customer service is important to us, and all our staff are trained to help you make the most of your visit to the circuit. Whether you need assistance to find a lost child or to locate a disabled toilet, please ask one of the many uniformed staff you will see throughout the venue.

Security
The safety and security of all our visitors is paramount, so please be aware you may be subject to bag searches and security checks at our venue. We would also politely ask, as an additional security measure, that you put luggage tags on all of your bags detailing your name and mobile number, so that it can be easily identified. Please do not leave your bag or personal belongings unattended at any time.

No dogs/animals permitted on site
No animals are permitted anywhere on site, with the exception of guide/assistance dogs. Please contact our call centre on 0344 225 4422 or email [email protected] during office opening times to advise if you will be bringing a guide/assistance dog.

Scooters/bicycles - prohibited in public areas
Please note that use of personal two-wheeled vehicles, including scooters, e-scooters and bicycles is strictly prohibited within public areas of the venue.

We kindly ask that all ticketholders driving to the circuit this weekend drive or ride carefully and considerately both when travelling to and leaving the venue.
