World Superbikes at Donington Park is always a calendar highlight, and the 2024 season could well see a total refresh of the usual order. Newly-crowned double champion Alvaro Bautista remains at Ducati, but his usual challengers Toprak Razgatlioglu and Jonathan Rea have made big moves as they look to knock the Spaniard off his perch!
Razgatlioglu has switched from Yamaha to BMW as he looks to add a second crown to the one he secured in 2021, while six-time champion and home hero Rea has taken the Turkish rider’s seat at Yamaha. In addition to Rea, other local heroes to cheer on will include Bennetts BSB champions Scott Redding, Tarran Mackenzie, Bradely Ray and Alex Lowes, with the latter’s twin brother Sam, a former Supersport world champion and front-runner in Moto2, joining the grid for the first time too.
WorldSBK will race three times across the weekend (once on Saturday, twice on Sunday), and there’ll be plenty more action to look forward to including World Supersport, plus leading national categories, guaranteeing action all the way.
