Jason O'Halloran claimed the Omologato Pole Position in the final eBay Qualifying session of the 2023 Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Brands Hatch, mastering the wet conditions to secure the top spot for McAMS Yamaha.

The Australian title contender maintained his form in the wet conditions from the previous round at Donington Park to hold off rival Leon Haslam by 0.046s at the chequered flag.

The ROKiT BMW Motorrad rider had endured a torrid day yesterday with technical problems, but he fought back in style to progress through eBay Q1 into eBay Q2 and then snatch a front row position for this afternoon’s opening race.

Rookie Charlie Nesbitt also delivered in the wet conditions to return to the front row for the MasterMac Honda by Hawk Racing team, nudging Jack Kennedy onto the second row for Mar-Train Racing Yamaha.

Peter Hickman bounced back from his Free Practice 3 crash to qualify fifth whilst his FHO Racing BMW Motorrad Teammate Josh Brookes was forced out of the action on the opening lap with a technical issue.

Kyle Ryde completes the second row for LAMI OMG Racing Yamaha as he continues his title fight ahead of main rival and championship leader Tommy Bridewell on the leading BeerMonster Ducati. However, it was a disastrous session for Glenn Irwin, who will start 17th.

Ryan Vickers, Christian Iddon and Storm Stacey completed the top ten, whilst Lee Jackson will start 16th.
