The epic battle for this year’s Bennetts British Superbike Championship heads to Donington Park this weekend (29 September – 1 October) for the latest instalment, with nine riders in contention for the crown. Tickets are available upon arrival at the venue at gate prices, with free entry all weekend for children under-13. Click here for more information and to book.
Just half a point currently separates BeerMonster Ducati riders Glenn Irwin and Tommy Bridewell at the top of the standings. Both riders have taken eight wins so far, but it’s Irwin who heads to Donington as the form rider, having won four of the last six races, in addition to two second places. Between them, the pair won all three races last time out at Oulton Park, but they’ll be keeping checks on Donington Park-local Kyle Ryde, who won two of the three contests when the series visited the circuit earlier in the season.
With six other riders still also in with a chance of taking the title, and the points tally increasing as the Showdown continues, three barnstorming Bennetts BSB tussles are in store as the pack of over 20 world-class riders prepares to put on a show!
In addition, there’s a full support class package to look forward to including the Quattro Group British Supersport and GP2, plus Pirelli National and Junior Superstock, British Talent Cup and more.
