Aiden Moffat will partner Josh Cook at LKQ Euro Car Parts with SYNETIQ in the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship in 2024, with the duo both at the wheel of a Speedworks Motorsport-run Toyota Corolla GR Sport.
Moffat joins the Toyota satellite operation more than a decade after he first joined the BTCC grid as a teenager in 2013. He completes a race winning line-up alongside Cook, the pairing having raced alongside each other in Honda machinery last season.
The Moffat and Cook entries will line-up alongside the official TOYOTA GAZOO Racing UK car of Andrew Watson, which will also be run out of the Speedworks stable. The identity of a fourth Speedworks driver, alongside Watson in the Toyota-branded squad, will be confirmed in due course.
This year’s BTCC campaign gets underway at Donington Park on 27/28 April, the first of the series’ six visits to MSV venues in 2024. This will be followed by visits to Brands Hatch, Snetterton and Oulton Park in the first half of the year. The series returns to Donington Park in August with Brands Hatch hosting its traditional October finale on the full Grand Prix circuit.
Brands Hatch and Donington Park will also host official pre-season action with the former hosting a test on 3 April ahead of the Season Launch at the latter on 16 April..
