Three days of nostalgic entertainment are planned, with Saturday and Sunday acting as the showpiece race days overseen by the Historic Sports Car Club (HSCC). Several of the HSCC’s own championships and series will be in action, including the Derek Bell Trophy for powerful ‘70s single-seaters, and there will be special guest grids too, such as the Historic Grand Prix Car Association and its field of pre-1966 F1 cars.
Special themes this year include a 75th anniversary celebration of British Racing Motors (BRM), Britain’s first Formula 1 team. This includes a collection of display cars, with Saturday featuring demos plus guest appearances from former drivers Richard Attwood, Howden Ganley, Jackie Oliver and Mike Wilds, plus designer Tony Southgate.
