2 Seas Motorsport has confirmed that they will return to the British GT Championship, fielding two Mercedes-AMG GT3s for the 2025 season. Kevin Tse and Maximillian Götz will pair up once again in the #18 car, while Kiern Jewiss and Charles Dawson will campaign the #42 car.
The British-Bahraini team will be competing in their sixth consecutive season and the fifth fielding two cars.
Mercedes-AMG factory driver and 2021 DTM champion Maximillian Götz will again team up with Kevin Tse, piloting the Contempo Concept Mercedes-AMG GT3 that boasts one of the most unique liveries on the 2025 grid. The pairing are rejoining for a second attempt at Pro-Am glory, having been a consistent challenger throughout last season with two race wins and a pole position.
2018 F4 British Championship winner Kiern Jewiss is paired with Charles Dawson who makes the step up from GT4 into GT3 machinery. The British driver scored a class win, three podiums and a third place in the GT4 Driver’s standings last season.
Kevin Tse said: “This year, we are in a much better position in terms of preparation, including having a more focused testing programme, and the aim is to execute every weekend as we know we can, without any mistakes. If we can do this, without any mistakes, we will be championship contenders.”
Kiern Jewiss said: “It is fantastic to confirm a return to racing after a year out of the car, and I’m excited to join 2 Seas Motorsport and partner with Charles. It is going to be a new challenge, having not driven the Mercedes-AMG GT3 before and it is a new championship for me to get to grips with, so we will be looking to make the most of each session. It will definitely be a learning process, and it is shaping up as an incredibly strong grid, but I can’t wait to get into it.”
Charles Dawson added: “Following the success in British GT, winning the GT4 Pro-Am title, it felt like the right time to step up to GT3. To be able to do so with a team like 2 Seas will be a fantastic experience. I am really looking forward to spending the season with them, developing my skills, and working with Kiern who comes with a fantastic background.”
