Rodin Motorsport's Maxim Rehm lowered the unofficial benchmark on the final day of the pre-season test at Snetterton, with his 1m37.958s being the quickest lap of the 300 circuit in 15 years.

The German driver's time came in the final session of the week, putting him 0.028s clear of Hitech's Deagen Fairclough, who had registered a lap record-beating time of his own on day one.

Rehm's lap was the first in the 1m37s bracket to be posted by a single-seater at the circuit since Miki Monras set a 1m37.2 in an official test for MSV's Formula Two Championship, back in March 2011.

Fairclough was the first to post a sub-1m38s lap in the final session, only for Rehm to just beat it a couple of minutes later, as the updated Tatuus MSV GB3-025 cars again demonstrated their vastly improved capabilities.

The top-two were 0.152s ahead of Hillspeed's Dante Vinci, who improved from his sixth fastest time from yesterday, and was just under a quarter of a second clear of the second Rodin car of Abbi Pulling, who had ended the morning running fastest courtesy of her session two effort.

Fairclough's teammate Noah Lisle was next up, 0.090s ahead of the lead Elite Motorsport car of Kyuho Lee, who completed the top six - all of whom set their best times in the final session.

The remainder of the top-10 set their best times in session two this morning, with Xcel Motorsport duo Cole Hewetson and Rowan Campbell-Pilling seventh and eighth ahead of the third Rodin car of Martin Molnar, who was the final driver within a second of the outright pace. Edu Robinson (Elite) completed the day's top-10.

The top-18 cars were all within the existing Snetterton 300 circuit lap record, further demonstrating the speed of the Tatuus MSV GB3-025 car, which benefits from engine and aerodynamic improvements for 2026.

Testing continues at Donington Park on 18/19 March, where official media activity for the championship will also take place.
