Rodin Motorsport's Abbi Pulling claimed her first GB3 pole position in qualifying one at Spa-Francorchamps, while VRD Racing's championship leader Nikita Bedrin broke the series qualifying lap record in the second session to claim pole for race two.

Both drivers have been towards the top of the times throughout testing and practice, and Pulling was able to convert her obvious speed this weekend into a breakthrough pole position for race one, with what was at the time, a record-breaking lap of 2m12.566s, 0.020s clear of her teammate Maxim Rehm.

In the second session, and with a lighter fuel load and another set of new tyres, Bedrin was able to post a 2m11.911s lap midway through, and didn't need contend the final five minutes in the 15-minute session. His time was over four tenths of a second quicker than the rest of the pack, headed by Rehm once more.

Qualifying one - Abbi Poleing
Pulling went into the session having been third quickest during both Thursday testing and Friday practice, while Bedrin had posted a quickest ever GB3 lap on Friday morning.

But it was Pulling who emerged on top of the pole battle, securing not just her first front-row start in GB3, but a milestone pole too. Pulling is the first female driver in the series to claim a qualifying pole position.

She did it inside the final five minutes, bumping teammate Rehm down the order before a late red flag brought the session to an early halt - though further improvements were not forthcoming anyway as temperatures continued to rise.

Pulling therefore claimed her first single-seater pole position since her record-breaking F1 Academy season in 2024, and will line up at the head of the grid for the first race of the weekend, with teammate Rehm alongside her on the front row, and the duo split by 0.020s.

Bedrin was just 0.017s further back in third, while the third Rodin of Martin Molnar completed a top-four covered by just 0.039s.

Hitech's Deagen Fairclough had topped the earlier stages of the session and wound up fifth, a tenth of a second clear of teammate Jin Nakamura.

Bedrin's fellow VRD Racing runner Patricio Gonzalez was 0.113s further back in seventh, 0.045s ahead of Elite's Kirill Kutskov, who secured his best GB3 qualifying result so far with eighth.

His teammate Flynn Jackes and Hillspeed's Dante Vinci completed the top-10 for the race one grid, which was covered by 0.727s.

The top-16 drivers in Q1 were split by just 1.004s around the longest circuit of the year. Race one will start at 11.00 CEST tomorrow.

Qualifying Two - Bedr1n's third pole of 2026
Having missed out on race one pole by less than four hundredths of a second, Bedrin displayed the sort of pace that saw him top practice earlier today. His time for the race two grid is almost two seconds quicker than the previous best GB3 qualifying time at the Belgian Grand Prix venue.

He set his time with over five minutes remaining, and perhaps confident he'd done enough, or to save tyres, he promptly pitted and sat out the rest of the session.

While a few late improvements came in, Bedrin's margin of pole was a comparatively large 0.472s, with Rehm second once more. Pulling was third this time around, and still happy after admitting afterwards she didn't have a crucial tow on her best lap.

Fairclough moved up to the fourth quickest time in session two, a tenth of a second behind Pulling and a similar distance clear of Molnar, with the two effectively trading positions from Q1.

Nakamura was sixth once more while Xcel's Lucas Fluxa climbed up to seventh quickest having been 11th in the first session.

Vinci was another to improve their position in the second session, securing seventh for his own best grid slot in 2026, as did Fluxa's teammate Rowan Campbell-Pilling who was ninth fastest and only just over a second away from pole.

Patricio Gonzalez completes the race two top-10, with that contest due to commence at 15.50 CEST.
