Brands Hatch’s cult hit Super Touring Power event returns for a fourth edition on 10/11 July 2027. Following a year off, Super Touring Power 4 will transport fans back to the fondly remembered ‘90s era of tin top competition, with an expansive on and off track show next summer.

As with the previous editions, the on-circuit action will be curated by the Classic Touring Car Racing Club (CTCRC). And the organisation’s pool of domestic competitors will be enhanced by the arrival of a contingent of racers from New Zealand, who have committed to appear at the Kent circuit as part of a planned world tour, with a special guest drive appearance from BTCC Super Touring legend Paul Radisich.

Circuit action will be headlined by the ‘90s Super Tourers, which will feature on both days with action on the Grand Prix circuit on Saturday before Sunday switches to the compact Indy layout. The Super Tourers will act as a key focal point, but the event will encompass much more than that, with machinery from a range of eras on show.

The full breadth of Super Touring Power 4 will span tin tops from the ‘60s, like Lotus Cortinas and Mini Coopers, through to fire-breathing 1980s ‘Cossies’. This theme will extend to the non-racing element of the show too, with displays, demonstrations and guest appearances celebrating the best part of seven decades’ worth of history.

Classic Touring Car Racing Club Chairman, Stuart Caie, said: “The initial Super Touring Power events were truly special. It took a huge amount of time and effort to get that initial trilogy of events off the ground, so it was the right thing to take a pause this year. But the undeniable fever those previous events generated meant it was probably inevitable we’d bring it back. We’ve been asked a fair amount if ‘STP’ would be making a comeback, so it’s a huge delight to confirm that with an emphatic yes! We’re all excited to work with David [Willey] and the team at MSV once again, and I’m especially thrilled that we can already look forward to welcoming several competitors from as far afield as New Zealand for next year’s event!”

Historic Touring Car New Zealand competitor and George Begg Festival promoter, Scott O’Donnell, said: “We look forward to returning to Brands Hatch, [with a group] which will include my own trio of Ford Mondeo Super Touring cars. Paul Radisich, 1993 and 1994 World Touring Car Cup winner, will be driving one of cars, with a third driver yet to be named. I am also the promoter of the George Begg Festival, which take place in March 2027 in New Zealand, where our group of competitors will start their season before shipping cars over to Super Touring Power 4 in July at Brands Hatch and the Oldtimer event at Nurburgring in August!”

MSV Group Motorsport Event Manager, David Willey, said: “Super Touring Power is a brand built on pure passion, and it’s something that I and the entire team at Brands Hatch thrived in contributing to between 2023 and 2025. Those first three events captured the imagination, and I’m massively excited that we’ll be revving the nostalgia engines up again once more in July. I’m massively looking forward to welcoming  Stuart [Caie] and the entire CTCRC to Brands Hatch, together with the great support from the group of competitors we have visiting from New Zealand – we can’t wait to do it all over again!”

Ticket information for Super Touring Power 4 will be shared later this year, with other details announced in due course.
