Kawasaki UK has announced that the iconic Ninja ZX-10RR will be returning to the ZYN British Superbike Championship next season, as Binch Racing step up to compete in the prestigious class. With technical support from FS-3 Racing and Kawasaki, the team is currently assessing several rider options, with the one-rider line-up to be announced later this year.

While the AJN Steelstock bimota team have achieved fantastic results on the ZX-10RR-powered bimota KB998 Rimini, the absence of a green machine on the grid has been felt by fans and Kawasaki alike. That is why Kawasaki UK is thrilled to confirm a return to the series for the Ninja ZX-10RR, which will also mark the debut of the new-styled Ninja on the BSB grid.

The bike will be fielded by the talented Binch Racing team, who will make the step up to BSB for the first time. The team have achieved great success in recent years in the British Supersport class and National Superstock 600 Championship, most notably at the hands of AJN Steelstock bimota’s Max Cook and Joe Talbot. They will now bring that passion and experience into the Superbike class.

Following the announcement of the new rules for the 2027 British Superbike class, the Ninja ZX-10RR's excellent chassis, combined with more balanced engine power rules, should make the Kawasaki ultra-competitive. The Binch Racing team will also have further support from the FS-3 Racing team as well as Kawasaki directly.

The team are currently assessing riders for the 2027 season, with a one-rider team announced later this year.

Ross Burridge, Head of Marketing & Racing Department at Kawasaki Motors UK said: “This deal has been in the works for some time, and I am delighted that Dave and his team have taken the step to move into the Superbike class with Kawasaki. It is important for Kawasaki to showcase the Ninja ZX-10RR in the premier class, and I think that with the right rider, we can help them hit the ground running in 2027.”

Dave Binch, Team Owner commented: “A discussion around new regulations for BSB in 2027 sparked my interest, and I’m proud to say that we will be on the 2027 British Superbike grid as a Kawasaki-supported team with technical support from the very experienced guys at FS-3. My plan is to follow our tried-and-tested model, work hard, prepare well and steadily improve against the realistic goals we set ourselves.

“Now that the solid foundations between Kawasaki, Binch Racing & FS-3 have been set, we can engage in the process of building the new 2027 regulation bikes and seeking out a rider line-up to fit with our partners and us.”

Details on tickets for the 2027 British Superbike Championship will be revealed in the coming days.
