Jason O’Halloran topped the times in the opening ZYN British Superbike Championship Free Practice session at the Brands Hatch final round, in damp and improving conditions.
The Australian’s last lap put him 0.244s ahead of countryman Josh Brookes who had been holding the edge until the final minutes on the DAO Racing Honda, with Danny Kent completing the top three.
Fraser Rogers was fourth fastest for TAG Racing Honda, edging out Joe Talbot and Lee Jackson, with Ryan Vickers and Scott Redding completing the top eight. Ilya Mikhalchik and Scott Swann completed the top ten riders, with championship leader Kyle Ryde opting to sit out the damp, but drying session.
