Multiple GB4 Championship race winners Pace Performance will expand up to the GB3 Championship for the 2027 season.
The Shropshire-based team, led by Sean Byrne, has already acquired its first two Tatuus MSV GB3-025 cars for the move into GB3, and plans to field a capacity three-car line-up for its first foray into European single-seater racing.
Pace Performance’s sophomore GB4 campaign has seen the team make huge progress after its single-seater debut in 2025. Josh McLean has powered to victory in four races already, and teammate Torrin Byrne has claimed three podium finishes to add to the team’s haul.
Their big scores, allied with teammate John O’Donnell’s upwards progress, which includes a breakthrough podium of his own at Donington Park, has combined to thrust Pace Performance towards the top of the teams’ standings with just this weekend’s three races at Brands Hatch still to go.
The team also fields multiple cars in the Ginetta Junior Championship, and sits fourth in the drivers’ standings with Harry Bartle, with the series finale also coming up at Brands Hatch.
On track preparations for the team’s GB3 debut will begin shortly, with a testing programme planned across circuits in the UK.
