AKCEL GP to make GB3 Championship debut at Brands Hatch with Aditya Kulkarni

AKCEL GP will make its GB3 Championship debut at Brands Hatch this weekend (26/27 September), marking the next step in the Snetterton-based team’s growing international single-seater operation.

Aditya Kulkarni will drive for the team as he returns to GB3, having completed a full season in the championship in 2024. The British-Indian driver arrived in GB3 after scoring numerous GB4 podiums in the preceding year and raced with AKCEL GP in the 2025 Formula Regional European Championship.

The team and driver completed their first official GB3 running together at the Brands Hatch test on 10 September, providing an early opportunity to build familiarity ahead of the race weekend.

AKCEL GP enters GB3 with experience drawn from Formula 4 Middle East and Formula Regional. The team finished among the top two teams in the Formula 4 Middle East Rookie Championship standings, while its Formula Regional European Championship programme strengthened its technical and operational experience in European single-seater competition.

The Brands Hatch outing begins a new phase for AKCEL GP as it establishes a presence in one of Europe’s leading single-seater championships, with a focus on developing a competitive race operation and creating opportunities for emerging drivers.
