Arden's Michael Koh resisted a race long challenge to claim his first GB4 Championship race victory in the Brands Hatch season finale.
Starting from the top-12 reverse grid pole, Koh led every race despite challenging conditions with light rain falling in the minutes before the race. He ultimately claimed victory ahead of Elite's Matan Achituv with Hillspeed's Connor Willis completing the final podium of the year.
The top-three circulated almost as one for the duration of the contest, with Koh rarely more than half a second ahead of Achituv. Despite the intense pressure and threatening rain, Koh kept his cool to claim not just his first win, but his first podium too, with a margin of 0.634s to Achituv. Willis was only three tenths of a second further back, with the top-three covered by less than one second at the chequered flag.
Fortec's Franciszek Cegielski, who had already been confirmed as this year's Rookie Title winner, celebrated his achievement with an excellent run to fourth from sixth on the grid. Cegielski had finished behind Douglas Motorsport's Conor Grant on the road, but the Irish driver picked up track limits penalties and fell to 14th in the amended result.
Pace Performance's Torrin Byrne was fifth from eighth on the grid, while Enzo Hallman meanwhile claimed third place in the driver's standings with a cool run to sixth.
Elite's Fred Green got his elbows out, and celebrated his runner-up status in the championship by gaining five places on the way to seventh, which included a battle with newly crowned champion Alex O'Grady. O'Grady may have won the season-long war, but Green won the race three battle with a daring move around the outside of Westfield, moments after O'Grady had challenged Douglas Motorsport's Dayton Coulthard.
Coulthard ultimately finished ahead of O'Grady but was another to pick up a track limits penalty and fell to 10th in the result, behind Fortec's Thomas Ingram Hill, who just missed out on a place in the championship end of year top-three.
O'Grady's final championship margin over Green at the end of the season was 33 points, while Hallman pipped Ingram Hill to third by just a couple of points.
Amended result
After the race, Clerk of the Course decisions were issued which changed the results of the race.
Cegielski was handed a five place position penalty for causing a collision with Emmilio Valentino Del Grosso
Byrne was handed a 10 second time penalty for a false start
Demitri Nolan was handed a five place penalty for causing a collision with John O'Donnell
Josh McLean was handed a five place penalty for causing a collision with Lily-May Watkins
Romuald Bocquet was handed a five place grid penalty for causing a collision with Solenn Amrouche
