The Honda NSX GT3 will make its first top level competitive appearance at Brands Hatch when the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Sprint Cup returns to the venue on 13/15 May.
Italian squad Nova Race, which has previously raced the car successfully on home soil plans to enter two cars in this year's championship. As the squad steps up from outings in the Italian GT Championship, Jacopo Guidetti and Leo Moncini are expected to pilot one car, with Diego Di Fabio and Erwin Zanotti in the sister machine.
All four drivers are newcomers to the series which has raced on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit regularly since 2014, but they all have plenty of experience with the team and car. Indeed, Guidetti and Moncini were Sprint champions in last year's domestic campaign.
The NSX last raced in Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe with an appearance at Spa back in 2020, but it hasn't previously appeared in the Sprint Cup. The Japanese will make its bow when the 2023 Sprint campaign kicks off with a pair of hour-long races at the Kent venue.
Honda is the latest manufacturer with a confirmed presence on this year's grid. Other cars expected to appear include the latest Ferrari 296 GT3, plus machinery from Audi, Mercedes-AMG and McLaren. BMW will return too, with MotoGP megastar Valentino Rossi amongst its drivers.
